Not-for-profit fraternal benefit society

Polish Falcons of America

Polish Falcons of America (PFA) is a not-for-profit organization that reinvests its earnings for the benefit of its members and the communities where they live. When you purchase a PFA life insurance certificate, you become a member and may be eligible for the benefits and programs below.

Member well-being benefits

Disaster Relief Fund

Support for members affected by a natural disaster. Eligible members who have damage from a recent natural disaster may submit a claim, with a maximum benefit of $500.

Member Assistance Fund

Help for members in need because of illness, injury, or other hardship. When a local Nest raises funds for a member through an event or project, National Headquarters matches that amount up to $500.

Newborn Benefit

A no-cost $5,000 death benefit for children up to age one, when National Headquarters is notified within 60 days of the birth and at least one parent is an eligible member at the time of birth.

Orphan Benefit and Educational Fund

A monthly income to age 18 for an orphaned child who is a member, when at least one parent was a member. If the child enrolls full time in college, PFA provides $800 per year for up to four years.

Lifeline Screening Reimbursement

A $10 reimbursement toward a Life Line Screening, a preventive screening that uses non-invasive ultrasound to check vascular health.

Hearing Aid Discount

Members and their families can use Start Hearing benefits, including free hearing consultations and discounts on hearing aids through a nationwide network of more than 3,000 hearing professionals.

Member programs and community

Adult Activities

Programs that encourage healthy, active living, from walking programs to bowling, golf, and volleyball, in the spirit of the Falcon motto: “Within a healthy body resides a healthy spirit.”

Youth Activities

Programs such as the Future Leaders Conference, Family Fun Weekend, and a week-long National Camp help build the PFA youth community.

Community Service

Through the IMPACT! program, members support causes they care about with projects like food drives, meal deliveries, clean-ups, and fundraisers.

Education and member recognition

Scholarships

Scholarship grants from $750 to $10,000 for eligible members, reviewed by an independent committee. Since 1962, more than 1,000 students have received a PFA scholarship.

Awards

Members are recognized through the Legion of Honor and Star of Merit awards, each offered at bronze, silver, and gold levels.
